Faulty Towers - The Bloody Nipple Saga

My guess is that the DM is on a caffeine and sugar high. There's nothing quite like Mountain Dew and Pixie Sticks to get you going. Subotai is refering to the successful casing roll when he mentions his "sources."

The initial cut of this comic was 1.5 MB. This one weighs in at 1.4 MB. I had a version that was 1.1 MB, but it was hard to read, and most of the scenes were confusing. I'm not going to make a habit out of this.

Transcript:

Scene: Valeria, Conan, and Subotai at the top of the Serpent Cult Tower.

Subotai:The sources said there would be a rope going down inside the tower.

DM:{ All look down inside a well-like structure } The rope does indeed descend into the tower. It's connected like a well, with a rope going around a pulley.

Subotai:We'll have to deal with the weight distribution on the two sides of the rope, so we don't make much noise or crash to the floor.

DM:It looks like the pulley hasn't been used in years, and won't budge.

Conan:Let's climb down.

Subotai:{ All climb down the ropes into the tower } What do we see?

Scene: Ponies roller skate in front of a rainbow colored house, decorated with bright rainbows, kites, and balloons.

Scene: Conan and Subotai look baffled.

Scene: Ponies fly over a rainbow in brightly colored hot air balloons.

DM:Oh, fine.

Scene: Valeria crouches beside the well, inside the tower, looking at cloaked figures holding candles and walking in rows.

DM:Wusses.
