If you don't understand the "lions ate her" joke, then you'll need to watch the movie again.

I found an interesting note the other day. Apparently, in the new DVD release of Conan the Barbarian, the audio tracks were separated between the background audio and the vocals (the original release was in mono sound, and this separation as for the DTS audio).

What does this mean? It means that all the wonderful music written by Basil Poledouris, that was never released on CD, can now be extracted to make an "ultimate edition" of the soundtrack.

There doesn't seem to be a thread for this chapter. Check for yourself at the forum for chapters.

Transcript:

Scene: Conan and Subotai escape from deep inside the Snake Cult Tower.
Subotai:I keep climbing up as fast as I can.
DM:Aren't you forgetting something?
Subotai:Did you drop the ruby?
Conan:I safely hid it in my shirt. I also kept the necklace.
Subotai:I still have the ointment and the figurines.
Conan:Oh, I remember. There was that elf chick.
Subotai:What about her? Wasn't she a throw-away NPC?
DM:No!
Conan:Maybe she's critical to the plot.
Subotai:Yeah, right. And maybe the lions ate her.
DM:You spot her by the guards, wearing a cultist's robe.
Conan:Look out! She's a traitor!
