The day after I posted the previous comic, I realized just how creepy it turned out. I had gone off script for that one, and I just don't like how it turned out. I very nearly rewrote the blasted thing, until I realized I could work with the creepy. If you watch this scene without the music, it really does look more creepy than romantic.

Stay tuned for the next installment, where big surprises and story twists take form!

Transcript:

Scene: Conan, Subotai, and Valeria sit in a tavern. Valeria is looking over a collection of jems.
Valeria (DM):We need to get these gems apparised, to split the loot evenly. Subotai, can you do that?
Subotai:{ Caressing a woman dancer in his lap } Not now. I'm busy.
Valeria (DM):I can take them to a jeweler, but that costs - { Conan holds her hand, looks deeply into her eyes, strokes her hand with the large Eye of the Serpent ruby, and closes her hand around the gemstone. }
DM:This is not where I wanted to take this story.
Subotai:I gotta get a breath of fresh air. I'm officially creeped out.
