This comic shows the correct follow-up to the last comic's comment on teaching the players who's really in control - the dice.

Compare to the earlier comic about when the dice go bad.

The original punch-line for this comic was:

Valeria: Do you expect me to die?
GM: No, Ms. Valeria, I expect you to talk!

But I couldn't work it in anywhere. It is, after all, yet another attempt at humor by parodying a famous movie quote ( Goldfinger). However, xkcd did a better job.

Update: The title was incorrect; it's been fixed. As a reward, I'll mention that this is a last attempt at stretching out the inevitable.

Transcript:

Scene: Valeria faces off against three opponents while escaping from Thulsa Doom's Mountain of Power.

Valeria:I won initiative. { Striking a blow against one foe. } That's a sixteen on to-hit.

Subotai:A one hit kill!

Valeria:Who's next?

Guard 2 (as DM):Six! Ah, nuts.

Valeria:Nineteen. Another kill?

Guard 3 (as DM):{ Swinging. } Your luck can't last forever. { Starring at Valeria. } Oh, crud. { Gets stabbed by Valeria. }

Conan:Why can't I ever roll like that?

DM:{ Valeria looks on at dying guard. } I hope you learned your lesson.
