Once again, we see that, even though the Age of Conan is quite barbaric, the women are up on personal hygene.
This is one of the reasons I'm using colored speech bubbles, so we can keep track of the players as they switch characters.
When I was creating the players' names, I wanted to name them with the first initial for their character. Chris for Conan, for example. In the GM's case, I wanted to name her after the actress who played Valeria, Sandahl Bergman, but instead made it a bit more American with Sandra. That took up the "S" word, and, as I learned from Orson Scott Card, when he was discussing his film adaptation of Ender's Game, the characters should have distinctly different names (he had too many "B" names in the novel). So, Subotai became Michael, because it's different.
Then there was Tom, who played Valeria. However, I had intended for him to play Thulsa Doom from the beginning, which is why I gave him a "T" name. So now you know just how long I've had this planned. And, as we all know, knowing is half the battle.
