Once again, we see that, even though the Age of Conan is quite barbaric, the women are up on personal hygene.

This is one of the reasons I'm using colored speech bubbles, so we can keep track of the players as they switch characters.

When I was creating the players' names, I wanted to name them with the first initial for their character. Chris for Conan, for example. In the GM's case, I wanted to name her after the actress who played Valeria, Sandahl Bergman, but instead made it a bit more American with Sandra. That took up the "S" word, and, as I learned from Orson Scott Card, when he was discussing his film adaptation of Ender's Game, the characters should have distinctly different names (he had too many "B" names in the novel). So, Subotai became Michael, because it's different.

Then there was Tom, who played Valeria. However, I had intended for him to play Thulsa Doom from the beginning, which is why I gave him a "T" name. So now you know just how long I've had this planned. And, as we all know, knowing is half the battle.

There doesn't seem to be a thread for this chapter. Check for yourself at the forum for chapters.

Tom (who played Valeria):Which character?
DM:Conan and Subotai are using the princess as bait, so that Thulsa Doom comes for her.
Scene: Subotai and Conan whittle together, with the princess in shackles behind them.
Subotai:It's a plot reversal - let Doom do a princess rescue.
DM:You can play the princess.
Princess (Tom):I'm not going to be in the same party as those two again, even if I play out escaping from them. How about I play Thulsa Doom?
Conan:Isn't he the villain?
Princess (Tom):Alright? I was being sarcastic.
Conan:You want him to be the bad guy?
DM:I don't think I can call him that anymore.
Princess (Tom):Where's his character sheet?
