Boy Meets Ghoul

Yes, this is nearly every undead in the first edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual (fourth edition of that book). I had always assumed while playing that ghasts were similar to ghosts. However, I see now that they're very close to ghouls.

There doesn't seem to be a thread for this chapter. Check for yourself at the forum for chapters.

Transcript:

Scene: Valeria, wrapped in an ethereal mist, stands before Conan and Rexor.
Subotai:If she was a ghost, we should have aged and run away once we saw her, and she couldn't be a spectre, because she would be powerless in the light.
Conan:Is she a zombie?
Rexor (as Thulsa Doom):Hello! Cremated!
Conan:Then a skeleton?
Rexor (as Thulsa Doom):She isn't just bones.
Conan:So no skeleton?
Subotai:No.
Conan:Maybe a ghast.
Subotai:They have bodies, too.
Conan:Really? Well, how about a shadow?
Subotai:I don't think so.
Conan:Vampire?
Subotai:No.
Conan:Mummy?
Subotai:No.
DM:Is that the Monster Manual? Put that down.
Conan:Wight?
Subotai:No.
Conan:Wraith?
Subotai:No.
Conan:Lich?
Subotai:No!
Conan:A gelatenous cube?
Subotai:Now you're doing it on purpose.
